Cá por Madrid os hamburguers (principalmente os gourmet) continuam na moda e são o tema de novos restaurantes. Em Lisboa pelos vistos também estão e seguramente o Cais da Pedra ajudará a construir a reputação de um formato dominado pelas cadeias de fast-food.
Devo admitir que quando marquei mesa no Cais nem sabia que o prato principal era esse, sabia apenas que era do Henrique Sá Pessoa e como tive uma boa experiência no Alma decidi experimentar. Foi num dia especial (o meu aniversário), fui com amigos o que o melhorou e muito a nossa experiência.

I must admit that when I booked a table at the Cais I did not even know this was the main course, I knew only that it was Henrique Sá Pessoa and as I had a good experience at Alma so I decided to try. It was a special day (my birthday), I went with friends which improved and much our experience.

O ambiente é informal, a decoração é simples e o que mais gostei foi da total visibilidade sobre a cozinha que podemos ver sentados na nossa mesa. Antes de ir tinha lido alguma queixa sobre o ruído e as crianças, é verdade que levei um bébé e que pelo restaurante vemos crianças, mas pelo o espaço em si o ruído é natural, em nenhum momento me senti incomodada com isso.
The atmosphere is casual, the decor is simple and what I liked most was the complete visibility into the kitchen that we could see sitting in our table. Before going I had read some complaints about noise and children, it is true that I took my baby with me and I saw children by the restaurant, but by the space itself the noise is natural, at no time did I feel uncomfortable with that.
Não pedimos entradas, comemos o pão, as azeitonas e os croquetes que nos colocaram na mesa que estavam óptimos.
Eu comi o hamburguer Gorgonzola e o marido comeu o Bacon & Ovo, ficámos satisfeitos com as nossas escolhas. O sabor do Gorgonzola é forte já se sabe e retirou um pouco o protagonismo á carne e já o Bacon & Ovo, ganhou muitos pontos principalmente comparando com os comemos em Madrid.
Havia espaço para sobremesas e pedimos um bolo de chocolate e um crumble de framboesas. Estavam boas mas não para atirar foguetes (como dizem por aqui).
Não paguei o meu jantar mas quem o fez confirmou que estava á volta dos 20€ por pessoa. Sei que para Lisboa e para hamburguers talvez seja caro mas quando comparo com Madrid é uma boa relação preço-qualidade. Voltaria...

I ate the Gorgonzola burger and my husband the Bacon & Egg, we were pleased with our choices. The strong flavor of Gorgonzola took away from the meat and the Bacon & Egg, won many points especially comparing with the ones we eat in Madrid.
There was room for dessert and we ordered a chocolate cake and a raspberries crumblessert. They were good but not to shoot rockets (as they say here).
I have not paid my dinner but those who did confirmed it around 20 € per person. I know for Lisbon and for hamburgers it may be expensive but when I compare with Madrid it's a good value for money. I would comeback ...
