Hoje conhecemos o...Parque Güell desenhado por Gaudí e que está em Barcelona.
Há várias maneiras de chegar a este parque, qualquer um dos bus turísticos param ali perto, de metro podem sair na estação de Lesseps ou de Vallscas, em qualquer das duas preparem-se para andar e subir muito. O morro tem umas escadas rolantes o que torna a coisa mais cómoda e sempre se conhece mais um bairro de Barcelona.

Chegamos ao Parque pela parte a Norte onde no topo encontramos uma cruz e em que a zona se torna num pequeno miradouro para ver não só a cidade de Barcelona com a Sagrada Familia e a Torre de Agbar a sobressair mas também o monte de Tibidabo onde está o "Sacrat Cor" e a roda gigante.
Podemos apreciar estas vistas com banda sonora, já que pelo parque estão espalhados inúmeros músicos a tocar, neste caso estávamos a ouvir jazz por dois músicos, um com uma guitarra e o outro com um saxofone.

Começámos a descer e até aqui, o Parque Güell parece o mais comum dos parques situados numa zona pulmão de uma qualquer cidade, até chegámos ao Miradouro e no meio de tanta gente conseguimos apreciar a qualidade arquitectónica do espaço que começa pela zona onde nos podemos sentar com os famosos azulejos partidos que são uma das imagens de marca de Gaudí. Esta é a zona da agitação, dos vendedores de pulseiras, de brinquedos para crianças e dos músicos que tocam agora outra música um pouco mais animada, creio que uma das que ouvi até era de Natal.

Deste a praça central voltamos a ter vista priveligiada para Barcelona.
São fabulosos os bancos ondulantes que estão nesta praça, eu que estava cheia de dores nas costas encostei-me e fiquei relaxada, primeiro pela beleza delas e depois pela sua forma algo ergonómica que davam um bom apoio ás costas...parece que estou a vender cadeiras ergonómicas!

Desta praça descemos até á Sala Hipóstila, cujas colunas fazem lembrar os templos gregos ou romanos. A intenção de Güell era fazer ali um espaço para o comércio de rua, hoje utilizado por músicos e alguns vendedores de bijuteria alusiva á arte de Gaudí. Antes de chegar encontramos ainda do lado direito o Pórtico da Lavadeira. Confesso que de tanto apreciar o local não foi logo á primeira vista que dei com a lavadeira, mas depois a ver as fotos lá a encontrei numa das colunas.

Nota importante para quando se visita qualquer edificio ou estrutura criada por Gaudí, olhar para cima! Muitas vezes os tectos são os irmãos discretos das paredes, mas Gaudí sabia adorná-los como ninguém, por isso quando andarem pela sala será dificil não olhar para cima, o tecto além do seu formato irregular, tem várias decorações.

A um Domingo os turistas ávidos por fotos do local cruzavam-se com os locais que o utilizam para passear ou para fazer "jogging"! Talvez por esse amontoado de gente eu não senti tanto o parque como deveria, chegava a ser stressante mas enfim...e mais ainda quando tentava tirar a foto a emblemática salamandra, é impossível...acho que teria que ir á primeira hora da manhã e bater em alguém para me deixar tirar uma foto á dita sem ter ninguém por trás, pelos lados, a pôr a mão, a encostar-se e muito mais...

A entrada do Parque é o seu ponto mais fascinante, todo o trabalho que foi feito nos edificios, todos os seus pormenores, porque era nos detalhes que Gaudí se tornava ainda mais interessante. Uma simples grade de uma janela não era para ele algo tão simples, era um motivo para explorar, ir mais além, criar...aí estava o seu génio.

Como o parque foi doado pela familia Guëll (o principal apoiante e cliente de Gaudí) á cidade de Barcelona, a sua entrada é gratuita e manutenção está a cargo do Ayuntamiento da cidade. Dizem que este Parque nasce de um "flop" imobiliário do investidor Güell, que comprou este terreno num morro para vender propriedades mas que acabou por não conseguir compradores e a única pessoa que realmente viveu naquele local foi o próprio Gaudí. Nada melhor para um apaixonado da natureza que construir um Parque para a cidade...
